Building websites since sixteen
I started building simple HTML and CSS websites in 2020, when I was sixteen. Since then, I’ve moved into professional design and development, with the same interest in how a well-made site works.
Why Better Site
Work directly with the person building it.
I’m Benjamin, a web designer and developer in Christchurch. I’ll work with you from the first conversation through to launch.
Get a free mockupThe background
A website service shaped by design and writing.
I enjoy getting to know a business and finding the right way to show what makes its work worth choosing.
Content with a purpose
I spent three years writing freelance content and studied screenwriting and advertising at Yoobee Colleges. That background helps me explain what a business does in words its customers understand.
One person, start to finish
You can ask me about any part of the site. I handle the content and development as well as the design, so I can follow a change through.
A broader creative toolkit
I also work with Photoshop, After Effects and animation. I draw on that experience when a project needs more than a static page.
What that means for the project
What working together looks like.
Ideas do not get lost
Tell me about the business and what matters to your customers. I’ll use that to plan the site with you.
Copy and design agree
I write and design together, so the layout gives the right information room to be read.
The scope stays understandable
You can see my standard prices before getting in touch. I’ll quote larger work before we start.
