What this site currently uses
Better Site uses first-party session storage, Meta Pixel, Web3Forms, normal hosting logs, and related technologies to operate the site, deliver form requests, understand broad website activity, and measure whether an enquiry was completed.
Better Site does not sell personal information.
First-party session storage
The site stores short-lived values in your browser session to remember that the entry loading screen has been shown, keep page-to-page navigation smooth, and prevent the same successful form submission from being counted repeatedly on the thank-you page.
These values expire with the browser session and are not used by Better Site to track you across unrelated websites.
Meta Pixel
The site loads Meta Pixel from connect.facebook.net and records a PageView event. After a form is successfully submitted, the site may record one Lead event with limited context such as the form type, selected package, and source page.
When the pixel operates, Meta may receive technical information such as the page URL, browser or device information, IP-derived information, event time, and cookie or advertising identifiers controlled by Meta. Meta may use its own cookies and process this information under its own policies.
You can learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy and manage advertising preferences through your Meta account and browser settings.
Contact forms and Web3Forms
The contact and free homepage request forms submit through Web3Forms. When you submit a form, Web3Forms and the related email systems process the information you enter and the technical information needed to deliver and protect the message.
Spam-prevention, delivery, and security systems may create their own logs or use related technologies while processing a submission.
Server and security logs
The hosting provider may retain technical logs such as IP address, requested page, browser type, device information, timestamps, errors, and security signals. These records are generally used for site delivery, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.
Your controls
You can block, delete, or limit cookies, scripts, and browser storage through your browser or privacy tools. Blocking some technologies may prevent analytics from operating and can affect form security or normal site behaviour.
You can avoid the website forms and email contact@bettersite.co.nz directly.
