The homepage mockup is free and carries no obligation. It is a temporary preview only. If the client does not continue, Better Site takes it down and destroys it.
Refunds and cancellations
How Better Site handles free mockups, paid builds and care plans.
Paid projects
The One Page Website costs $199 NZD and the Business Website costs $499 NZD, with payment due within 3 days of launch. Clients who agree a payment arrangement must follow the written arrangement. If payment is overdue and there is no response after reasonable notice, Better Site may suspend hosting.
If you cancel a paid project, charges are limited to agreed work reasonably completed and approved unavoidable costs already committed, taking account of what you can use and why the project ended. Unperformed work is not charged and overpayments are refunded. Better Site will provide an itemised explanation.
A change of mind does not automatically create a refund entitlement. However, nothing in this policy limits rights to a remedy, including a refund where applicable, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Hosting and care plans
Hosting and care plans can end without notice at the end of the paid monthly period. Fees already paid for a period are not automatically refundable simply because a client stops using the service during that period, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Before deleting a hosted website, Better Site will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to obtain your paid website files and arrange a transfer.
